78th Dressler Memorial Championship

We look forward to seeing everyone for the 78th George Dressler Memorial Championship Presented by LECOM and hosted by UPMC Pinnacle at the Country Club of York on Monday-Tuesday, April 23-24. Please see below for links to important information regarding tee times, policies and player information.
POTENTIAL FROST ADVISORY: Please be advised there is a chance of a frost delay on Monday morning. In an effort to be proactive, in case of a frost delay, tee times may be adjusted to accommodate a 1st and 10th tee start. We will check with Superintendent Pat Michener and his staff first thing Monday morning and send communication as soon as possible regarding any adjustments in starting times. No one would be assigned a starting time prior to what was originally prescribed.
We’ll hope for warm temperatures on Monday morning, but will also be prepared for any delay and will notify you as soon as possible. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Caddie & Cart:
Carts are permitted and optional for this event. Cart fee of $35 is payable upon arrival. Payment methods include Cash, Visa, Mastercard or reciprocal club charge. Walking permitted, Pull carts permitted. Players may walk and carry, or bring their own caddy and/or pull cart.

Pace of Play
The PAGA 4-point Checkpoint system will be in effect. Maximum time allotted to complete a stipulated round is 4 hours and 30 minutes. Time of finish is listed hole-by-hole on your scorecard. Please review the Pace of Play policy prior to your round.
Format
The George Dressler Memorial Championship will be played over 36-holes of stroke play. First round is 18-holes. Second round is 18-holes. Players will be re-paired according to first round results. Super-Senior Division entrants will play first followed by the Amateur division.
AGE DIVISIONS: Championship - up to 54 - Senior - Age 55-64 - Super-Senior - Age 65 and older (ages up to 64 Play from same tees).
Yardages
Championship and Senior Division will play approximately 6600 yards. Super-Senior will play approximately 6100 yards. You can find proposed yardages by clicking on results, then on your name to view the proposed scorecard yardages.
Starting Times
Day two starting times will begin with the Super-Senior Division, followed by the Overall Division. First round results will determine 2nd round pairings.
Practice Round
Practice rounds available at various times. Please call the golf shop at 717-843-9303 up to one week in advance to check for available dates and times.
Practice round fee: $50 includes cart, cart required for practice round.

Practice Range
Will be open approximately one hour prior to first tee time. A possible frost delay may affect the opening of the practice facility.
Registration
Please be at your starting tee ten minutes prior to your tee time.
Food & Beverage
Lunch is included in entry fee and will be provided for all competitors on each day of competition. Additional F&B will be available for purchase in the clubhouse and halfway house.
Hotel
The Association recommends either the Hampton Inn & Suites York South or Courtyard by Marriott York. There are several hotels available in various price ranges in the York and surrounding area.
