Welcome to the 2017 Metropolitan Amateur Series presented by Imperial Headwear!  The Amateur Series was created to bring an opportunity for golfers of all ages, abilities and gender together to compete on one even playing field.  If you have a USGA GHIN Handicap and MAGA Membership you are eligilble and we have a place for you to play.  

Golfers compete in one of four (4) Division they choose from, the following:

Open: At scratch, no handicaps

Net Open: Using their USGA handicaps in a Net format

Senior Open: Ages 50 and older at scratch

Senior Net: Ages 50 and older with handicaps

The Series is six (6) one-day events throughout the season, where players earn points based on their finish in each event toward qualifying for the 2-day Series Championship.  This years lineup of courses includes: WingHaven CC; Tamarack GC; Bear Creek GC; Persimmon Woods GC; The Quarry GC and Annbriar GC with the Championship being at Aberdeen GC.  

New for 2017, a Four-Ball (Best Ball) event has been setup and will be played at Far Oaks GC.
