- 90 golf balls daily at the driving range

- 8 x group coaching sessions between April - October

- Use of the short game facilities

- Access to competitions

- SALJGA Cap

- BBQ Ticket (September 6th)

How do I collect my 90 daily golf balls?

- We will be starting to create your SALJGA 2025-2026 membership cards shortly! These can be collected from Reception on the Left Hand side! If you do not want a basket of 90, you can also ask for 30 and 60.

I don't have any golf clubs, can I borrow one of yours?

- Yes! When visiting the driving range, if you do not have your own clubs, you can borrow ours. We have plenty of junior sets. Right and left handed

Where can I see the coaching program dates?

- On the same link as the registration form/website, under the coaching explained tab.

What is a links ticket?

- A links ticket allows you to play on the golf courses! No handicap is needed for a few of the courses and it allows your child to play on the golf courses outside of competition times.

free for children <16 who live in town

- £30 for children >16

- £30 for children who attend school in St Andrews but live outside St Andrews

Is my child able to play in the competitions? - They have not yet got a handicap.

- Most definitely! We have children as young as P1-P2 join us. Once they are able to hit the ball in the air regularly and putt a ball along the ground on their own, they are ready. These competitions are fun based rounds on the Balgove (9 holes) with mum/dad/guardian walking around to help carry their bag/, keep score and keep them safe. There is a maximum of 10 shots on each hole.

I want to move up to play on the bigger courses, how can i do that?

- Take a look at our programme on the course pathway page to see what we recommend

Where can I see the upcoming competitions?

On the registration website - there will be a tab (competitions) uploaded soon! Keep a look out. Emails will also be sent out with sign up invitations. Be sure to check the title of the competition to see if your eligible to join.

I want to play in the competition but i am busy during the SALJGA times?

- Not a problem. If you have a links ticket, you can make your own tee time with the starters/reception team to play on the same day & same course with a playing partner who is also in the competition. Just make the SALJGA team aware at least 24 hours before.

I want to join a golf club to play in more competitions and get a handicap with my friends. What do you recommend?

- We have some amazing clubs in town that we would definitely recommend. The clubs run activities/coaching sessions and even their own competitions especially during half terms. If you would like more information, click on the link next to each club.
