Welcome to the Bayonet Amateur Championship
Thank you for joining us for the Bayonet & Black Horse Amateur Championship. You’re tournament entry fee includes tournament green fees, carts and practice balls. If you would like to play a practice round before the tournament begins, you may do so at a rate of $59 which includes a cart and range balls. There are open tee times for Thursday Practice rounds.
Below you will find a brief schedule of events, followed by basic tournament information.

Format: Individual - The Individual Championship shall be conducted over 54 holes, with a cut after 36 holes to the top third of the field and ties. In the event of a tie, the individual champion will be determined by a sudden death playoff immediately after the conclusion of play.
Live Scoring: The BBH Tournament Committee will conduct Live Scoring during the Championship. During each round, BBH scoring volunteers will be stationed at key locations on the golf course (After 3rd Hole, 6th Hole, 10th Tee, 13th Tee, 16th Tee and 18th Tee) and will request scores. These scores will then be posted throughout the day on the BBH web site at www.bbhgolf.com, displayed on TV's in the clubhouse and viewed on the BBH App. Contestant cooperation in submitting updated scores to BBH scoring volunteers during each round is appreciated.
Carts:Players may use a cart, and carts can be picked up on the first tee prior to their tee time. There will be no more than two carts per group. Carts are included in your entry fee.
Spectator Carts: Spectator carts are available on a space-available basis for $50 per round, per cart. Spectator carts are required to stay on all cart paths at all times.
Pull Carts and Caddies: Manual push/pull carts are allowed. Contestants may bring a caddie. Caddies may ride in a cart if a spot is available, but caddies cannot rent additional carts.
Awards: Individual – The low individual scorer will receive a Bayonet & Black Horse Amateur Championship Trophy and his name will be engraved on the Bayonet Amateur Championship Perpetual Trophy.
Transportation: Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Bayonet Black Horse.
Distance Measuring Devices: Distance-Measuring Devices that measure distance only WILL be permitted for use during the Championship. If during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g. gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.
Conduct and Attire: Golf soft spike policy of Bayonet Black Horse is in effect at the time of the Championship. Proper golf attire is required. Golf shirt must have a collar and either pants or golf shorts are required. All headwear must be worn forward. Any act of unsportsmanlike conduct–including but not limited to: cursing, throwing clubs, damage to the golf course, or other are prohibited. Disqualification with no refund is possible at the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee.
Pace of Play: In the practice round, no more than one ball should be played to the green. If you are holding up play during the practice round, you may be asked to skip holes.
