FORMAT:
54 – Hole Individual Stroke Play

Boys 10-11 Division

 

PAIRINGS: 

Round # 1 Starting Times Will Be Posted By Noon on July 18th

 

ALL OTHER ROUNDS WILL BE POSTED APPROXIMATELY TWO HOURS

AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE PREVIOUS ROUND.

    

COURSE & INFORMATION

Boys 10-11 Fazio Course White Tees 5,655 Yards

 

 

PRACTICE FACILITIES:

Complimentary Range Balls will be provided on the Champion and Fazio ranges on tournament days from 6:30AM until the last starting time. Players wishing to practice after these times must purchase range tickets in the golf shop. *No chipping allowed on main putting green next to the golf shop. Please use Fazio practice facility for chipping.

 

LOCAL RULES:

Each contestant will receive a notice to competitors at their starting tee.

 

HOLE LOCATIONS:

Each contestant will receive a hole location sheet for that round at their starting tee.

 

SCORECARDS:

Each contestant will receive an official scorecard at their starting tee. Immediately following play, return your signed and attested official scorecard to the MEMBERS CLUB for scoring. Do not bring your golf bags into the scoring room or leave them in the hallway. There is a designated “BAG DROP” area outside the member’s club for your golf bag.

 

PACE OF PLAY:

It is important that the correct pace be maintained by all players, PLAY READY GOLF! Rules Officials will monitor pace and issue Pace of Play Penalties when necessary.

 

TIES:

Weather and time permitting, ties for first place will be broken by a sudden death playoff. All other ties will be broken in accordance with the USGA recommendations in Appendix I, Part B, 10 (c). 

 

SUSPENSION OF PLAY:

If play is suspended by the Committee for a dangerous situation, if the players are between the play of two holes, they must not resume play until the Committee has ordered a resumption of play. (Rule 6-8b Note) If players are in the process of playing a hole, they must discontinue play immediately and not resume play until the Committee has ordered a resumption of play. If a player fails to discontinue play immediately, he/she is disqualified unless circumstances warrant waiving the penalty as provided in Rule 33-7. The signal for suspending play due to a dangerous situation will be one long blast of the horn. If possible, mark the position of your ball with a tee and proceed to the evacuation location listed on the rules sheet. Shuttles and vans will be used to transport you back to the Clubhouse.

 

All contestants must then proceed immediately to the MEMBERS CLUB. NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

(NOTE:  If play is suspended on the final round and play cannot be completed by dark or because of a dangerous situation, the tournament will revert to the last stipulated eighteen hole round completed by the entire field).

 

Players shall secure their clubs in a storage POD at evacuation sites where they are available during weather delays.

 

RESUMPTION OF PLAY:

Once the Committee has decided to resume play, an announcement will be made to all contestants. As directed, players will board shuttles and vans, and return to the golf course.  The signal to resume play will be two short blasts of the air horn.

 

GOLF CARTS:

There are no contestant or spectator carts allowed. Spectator individual mobile scooters are permitted.

 

PULL CARTS:

Pull carts are permitted in ALL age divisions - Boys and Girls. Golfers are allowed to bring their own carts. Parents (spectators) are permitted to pull player carts BETWEEN the play of 2 holes WHERE PLAYERS ARE SHUTTLED.
 

CELL PHONES/HEADPHONES:

Cell phone and/or headphone usage is not permitted on the golf courses during any competition round. Use of a cell phone and/or headphones by a contestant during a round will result in disqualification. Spectators must have their cell phone turned off or on silent or vibrate while on the golf course. No warning will be issued before disqualification or dismissal.

 

CLUB STORAGE:

Contestants staying on or off property may store their clubs in PGA National’s bag room.

Make sure your golf bag is marked clearly with your name.

Bag Room: 6:00AM – Dark, daily
