Thursday, April 27th
NO BREAKFAST ON THURSDAY – please plan accordingly
7:30 – 8:30 a.m. Registration
8:00 – 9:00 a.m. Warm-up
9:00 a.m. Four-Ball Matches (Shotgun start)
12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Lunch – BBQ Pork Sandwich buffet
1:30 p.m. Foursome Matches (Alternate Shot) – off #1 and #10 tees
Sponsors and guests play after competitors clear tees
5:30 p.m. *Group Photos, Social Hour, Cocktails
6:30 p.m. *Dinner – Sirloin steak
*Coat and Tie are NO LONGER required for dinner but attendance is very strongly requested
*Dinner is for players and guests of the IGA and Iowa PGA only
Friday, April 28th
7:00 – 9:30 a.m. Breakfast & Warm-up (Egg casserole, sausage, bacon, etc)
8 – 10:32 a.m. Singles Matches – all off #1 tee
12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Lunch – Hamburger/Grilled Chicken buffet
1:30 p.m. Awarding of Iowa Cup and Departure
Required Team attire for each day:
Thursday Friday
Professionals Wear: Black Slacks Grey Slacks
Amateurs Wear: Khaki Slacks Black Slacks
Note: Team shirts will be distributed on Thursday morning if you haven’t already picked them up.
Iowa Cup Match Format:
Round 1 – Four-Ball Matches – 18 Holes, 1 point per match
Round 2 – Foursome Matches (Alternate Shot) – 18 Holes, 1 point per match
Round 3 – Singles Matches – 18 Holes, 1 point per match
TOTAL POINTS – Round 1 = 10 + Round 2 = 10 + Round 3 = 20 = 40 Total Points
Practice Rounds:
Host professional Kevin Beard, Curt Ingham and Otter Creek GC will offer at least one free practice round to any participant. They must call to make a tee time with the golf shop at (515) 965-6464.
Lodging:
