DATE: April 5-6, 2025
FORMAT: 36-holes Four-Ball stroke play tournament at gross and net.
Players will choose the division they wish to compete in (Championship or Field) upon registration. Players must compete in the Championship division to be eligible to earn POY points. If both partners are ages 50+ in the Championship division, players will earn an equal amount of Senior POY points as they do POY points.
HANDICAPPING: The Field Division will be flighted, flights will be determined using the low players Handicap Index on the team as of March 30th, 2025.
Players will receive 85% of their individual course handicap throughout the competition.
FIELD SIZE: 80 players (40 teams)
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 30, 2025 4 p.m.
YARDAGE: Projected yardages are posted on the portal and represent max yardages that will be used on each hole. The yardage is subject to change at the discretion of the AZ GOLF staff.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all female amateurs who have an active AZ GOLF membership in good standing. All players must also adhere to the Tournament and Player Regulations which can be found HERE.

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds may be scheduled for play 5 days prior to the event by calling Briarwood Country Club at (623) 584-5600. Rate will vary depending on date and time of play. Please mention you are playing in the AZ GOLF event.
PAIRINGS: Tournament pairings will be emailed to participants by end of day on Tuesday April 1.
PRACTICE FACILITY: Will be available one hour prior to play.
CADDIES: Caddies are NOT permitted for the event.
GOLF CARTS: The use of golf carts is included in the registration fee; however, players are permitted to walk if interested. AZ GOLF Cart policy (maximum of two riders per cart and maximum of two carts per group) will be enforced.
In addition, the following policies will be enforced:
- Spectator carts are not permitted for insurance reasons, NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Carts are assigned only to contestants.
- Restrictions on cart use for players are at the discretion of the Host Site and all players are bound by those requirements, subject to withdrawal for violations of that policy. Any such restrictions will be posted at the tournament site.
- Carts must be kept on paths if available near greens and tees.
- Any non-player riding with a player is considered a caddie and subject to any potential Rules violations.
- Pull carts are permitted as long as not in conflict with the Host Club rules.
WITHDRAW POLICY:
- Players who withdraw prior to the close of registration will receive 100% of the entry fee, regardless of reason, minus a $10 administration fee.
- Players who withdraw after the close of registration will not receive a refund.
Players may withdraw by calling the AZ GOLF office at (602) 944-3035 during normal business hours or calling the Withdraw Line at (602) 944-3035 ext. 210 and leaving a message.
PAYOUTS: Van's Golf Shop gift cards will be given to top finishers following the event. Specific payout amounts will be posted at the event.
