FIELD SIZE

40 teams

 

ELIGIBILITY

All amateur UGA members with the assigned sex of female at birth who have an active USGA Handicap Index are eligible to compete in this championship.  For any player wishing to compete in a gender competition classification that is different than their sex assigned at birth or for any player who has transitioned or is currently transitioning to a gender that is different than their sex assigned at birth, in addition to completing this registration you will also need to follow the processes outlined in the UGA Competitive Fairness Gender Policy and comply with all eligibility requirements therein.

 

STARTING TIMES

Starting time will be e-mailed to players after the registration deadline has passed.

 

PAIRING REQUESTS

Teams will have the ability to choose their pairings for Round 1 upon sign-up. We will re-pair for Round 2 based on results from Round 1.

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Players will be responsible for scheduling their practice round by calling the host club.  Any practice round fee will be the responsibility of the player.

FLIGHT INFORMATION

The field will be broken into flight determined by the lowest Handicap Index of the two partners using the May 19 handicap revision. 
 

SWPPR POINTS

Only one player on a team needs to be a senior to receive SWPPR Points.
 

REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS 

If a player withdraws prior to the registration deadline the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancellation fee.  After the deadline, the player will receive a 50% refund.  Beginning the day before the event, no refunds will be issued if a player withdraws or no shows (For Example, if an event begins on Monday, any withdrawal starting on Sunday will result in no refund). A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day.  In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for her original partner after the field has closed; she must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.
