ENTRY FEE
$300 per player.
- $90 for qualifying.
- $210 to advance to the championship.
FORMAT
36-hole stroke play qualifying. Following the stroke play qualifying, the field will be cut to the low 64 players, who will then compete in match play.
FIELD SIZE
156 Players.
ELIGIBILITY
All entrants must be members of the UGA and must have a USGA handicap index of 9.9 or lower as of Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 04:00 PM.
STARTING TIMES
Starting times will be e-mailed to players and posted online by July 1st. The UGA will take no starting time requests.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Each player will receive one complimentary practice round at Logan CC. Players are only responsible for a cart fee should they choose to ride. Caddies and guests will not be permitted to play. Players must call Logan CC to schedule their practice round after qualifying. All practice rounds must be played on the following dates:

Logan Country Club Dress Code: No denim, collared shirts required.
Each player will receive one complimentary practice round at Eagle Mountain GC. Players are only responsible for a range fee and a cart fee should they choose to ride. Players should book their practice round online at this link: Click Here. Players will be allowed to play any time Monday-Thursday and after 12pm Friday-Sunday.

REGISTRATION FOR CHAMPIONSHIP PROPER
If you qualify for the Championship, then your card will automatically be charged $210, and you will be placed in the Championship field. You no longer will need to register for the Championship once you qualify. The deadline to withdraw and receive a full refund minus a $20 administration fee will be June 27th at 4:00pm. Any withdrawal after that deadline and before July 7th will receive a 50% refund.
CADDIES & CARTS
Caddies are permitted. Carts are permitted for contestants through local qualifying, championship stroke-play qualifying, Round of 64, Round of 32 and Round of 16 matches. *Contestants and caddies reaching the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals will be required to walk.
Spectator carts will not be available for rent at the championship venue.

MATCH PLAY COMMITMENT
Any player who intends to withdraw from the tournament during any portion of match play must do so before the match play field is determined. Failure to do so may result in sanctions against the player.
REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS
If a player withdraws prior to the registration deadline (June 27th at 4:00pm) the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancelation fee. After the deadline, the player will receive a 50% refund. Beginning the day before the event, no refunds will be issued if a player withdraws or no shows (For Example, if an event begins on Monday, any withdrawal starting on Sunday will result in no refund). A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day. In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for his original partner after the field has closed; he must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.

ENTRY DEADLINE
All entries for qualifying and exempt players must be received at the UGA office no later than 4:00 pm MST on May 8th.
QUALIFYING SITE ASSIGNMENTS
Players may compete at any qualifying site of their choice; registration is on a first come first serve basis. Please note that all qualifying sites are limited to the first 84 players, if a player’s desired site is full he may choose to be placed on the waitlist (determined in registration date order) or he may register for another site on a space available basis. Players will not be placed on a waitlist if they are currently active in another qualifying field. Players May only sign up for one qualifier. Waitlists may be capped.
QUALIFYING
A total of 156 players will advance to the finals. The number of qualifying spots at each site will be determined by percentage, each field's percentage will be the same. There will be playoffs immediately following play at each site to determine the final qualifying spots and alternates for the Championship. Players must be present, ties will not be taken.*
*The UGA reserves the right to extend the field at any time.
ALTERNATE INFORMATION
Two alternates will be determined from each qualifying location. Alternate order will be determined by 1) the playoff for the final spot, or 2) a playoff for the two alternate positions. If the alternates are not present for the playoff they will be determined by lot.
How alternates will advance to the Championship:
1) If a player qualifies for the State Amateur and subsequently withdraws the next available alternate from that players qualifying location will be selected. If the two alternates from the players qualifying location are unavailable or have already been placed in the field the next available alternate on the championship allocation will be selected.
2) In the case that an exempt player withdraws from the championship the first available alternate from the championship allocation schedule will be selected.
