Thank you for joining us for this yearโ€™s second Masters event. Below is information youโ€™ll need ahead of Mondayโ€™s 1:00 PM shotgun start.

  • 11:30 AM โ€“ Skins Game Registration & Practice Area Opens
    (No lunch is available on-site)

  • 1:00 PM โ€“ Shotgun Start

  • After Play โ€“ Scoring & Dinner
    (Dinner is provided and included in the entry fee.  Cash bar will be available)

๐ŸŒ๏ธ Pre-Event Warm-Up

For those wishing to hit practice balls, please allow an additional 15 minutes due to a limited number of spaces on the driving range.  Practice facilities will open at 11:30AM.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Optional Skins Game

A $20 per player, optional skins game is available at registration:

  • Separate divisions for Net and Gross

  • Cash only

  • Sign up at the registration table before teeing off

๐Ÿ“ฑ Scoring Information

We encourage the use of electronic scoring via the Golf Genius app. You may also return a printed scorecard if necessary. Scorecards will be accepted for 45 minutes after the first electronic scorecard is submitted per course.
 

If you havenโ€™t already, please download the Golf Genius app from the Apple Store or Google Play before arriving.

๐Ÿงฎ Handicaps

Handicaps for Net scoring will be based on the Friday, June 13th revision.  95% of handicaps will be used.

๐Ÿ“˜ Local Rule In Effect: Stroke & Distance โ€“ E-5

This event will use Local Rule E-5 โ€“ an alternative to stroke and distance for a ball that is lost or out of bounds.

๐Ÿ”น You may still play a provisional ball.
๐Ÿ”น This rule cannot be used if a provisional ball has already been put into play.

๐ŸŒฑ Preferred Lies

Preferred lies will be in effect for this event:

A ball lying on a closely mown area in the general area may be lifted without penalty and cleaned.

  • The ball must be marked before lifting.

  • It may be placed within one club length, no closer to the hole.

  • This rule does not apply in penalty areas, bunkers, or putting greens.

๐ŸŽฏ Assigned Teeing Locations

If your assigned tees present too difficult of a challenge due to age or playing ability, you may choose to move up to the Silver Tees (~5100 yards).

โš ๏ธ Note: If you choose this option, you will only be eligible for Net prizes.

๐Ÿ“ข Be sure to notify MVG staff of this decision before play begins.
