📋 Event Schedule

  • 11:30 AM – Registration & Practice Area Opens
    (Note: No lunch provided before play. Dinner is included after play.)

  • 1:00 PM – Shotgun Start
    (See Starting Hole Assignments on-site)

  • After Play – Scoring, Awards, Cash Bar, and Dinner

📱 Scoring

We encourage the use of electronic scoring via the Golf Genius app. You may also return a printed scorecard if necessary. Scorecards will be accepted for 45 minutes after the first electronic scorecard is submitted per course.

 

There are two ways to submit your scorecard:

  • Preferred: Electronic (via Golf Genius App)

  • Alternative: Printed Scorecard

Scorecards must be submitted within 45 minutes of the first electronic scorecard being returned.

🏌️‍♀️ Format of Play: 2 Best Balls on Each Hole

  • 18 Holes of Stroke Play.  2 Best Balls of a Four-Person Team.

  • Teams will use the 2 better balls of the 4 for the team score on each hole.

  • Both Gross and Net competitions are being played (85% of handicaps will be used)

  • Scores will be posted to GHIN after play.

⛳ On-Course Proximity Contests

  • Hole 5 – Group 1

  • Hole 17 – Group 2

  • Hole 12 – Group 3

  • Hole 3 – Group 4

⚠️ Local Rule: E-5 in Effect

The Local Rule for Stroke and Distance (E-5) is in effect.

  • Allows a drop for lost or out-of-bounds ball with penalty

  • Provisional balls are still encouraged

  • Rule does not apply if a provisional ball is already in play

📊 Handicaps

Handicaps for net scores are based on the July 11th revision.  85% of playing handicaps will be used.

💰 Optional Opportunities

  • Split the Pot – 6 tickets for $5

  • Course Raffle – $10 per ticket
    (Win 2 rounds for 2 at Walnut Grove Country Club. Proceeds benefit the DDWGA Scholarship Fund.)
