Registration Fee: $80 (amateurs) / $100 (professionals)
Registration Opens: Aug. 26 at 9 a.m.
Registration Closes: Sept. 23 at 11:59 p.m.
Eligibility: Open to amateur male and female members of GAP Member Clubs. All players must be age 25 or older as of the first day of competition. Male amateurs must have a handicap index of 10.0 or less to be eligible. Female amateurs must have a handicap index of 22.9 or less to be eligible. Golf professionals competing in the Mid-Open division must be age 25 or older, and employed by or affiliated with a Delaware golf facility.
Field Size: 120 players maximum
Tee Times & Requests: All groups will start on No. 1. The first tee time will be 8 a.m. Pairing (groups of three) and tee time requests will be accepted.
Format & Divisions: 18-hole individual stroke play event.
Men's Championship Division: Competing from approximately 6,500-6,700 yards
Women's Championship Division: Competing from approximately 5,500-5,700 yards
Ties: Ties for either Overall Champion will be decided by a sudden death playoff (holes TBD). If there is a tie for Low Professional that does not effect the overall Championship, the prize money will be split.
Practice Rounds: Practice rounds have been made available for this event. The course routing will be Grizzly-Kodiak. Players may book a practice round any time after 12:00 PM by calling the golf shop at (302) 537-5600. The cost for a practice round is $50, players may use cash or card as form of payment.
