Dear Members and Guests,
 
We're under two months away from the 2025 River Pig and wanted to pass along a few updates
 
  • Wednesday night will be our Horse Race and spouses are encouraged to attend-- we will have food and drinks on the river and should be a great atmosphere to begin the tournament!
  • Friday night, June 20, will now be an open night- there will be no scheduled tournament activities after the PM round
    • The club will be open for dinner if you want to make a reservation there or in town that night
  • The committee will be working on tee times in the coming weeks when we are closer to a final field
    • We will alert everyone to their assigned AM/PM or PM/AM times as soon as we can (hope to have finalized by early June)
      • If you have preferences for playing partners for Thursday and Friday, please send those to me at this email (after you've consulted with the groups you are hoping to play with)-- Saturday times will be based off your position in the tournament (bottom 50% of teams will tee off in the AM wave and top 50% will tee off in the PM wave)
        • We will do our best to honor all playing partner requests (please note that not all will be possible as some participants will be playing in opposite shotguns based off of sponsor tee-time guarantees)
          • If you would like to guarantee your tee- time preference you can still sponsor- there are approximately 12 guaranteed tee-times remaining 
  • I need all photos (can be professional or funny) of participants by Friday this week (appx half of the field has found this task too monumental at this point)
    • I've got quite an imagination and not afraid to use it if I'm left to find a photo of a participant (secretly hoping some of you don't send one)
