ENTRY FEE

There is no entry fee for players.  Players are only responsible for their lodging.

FIELD SIZE

40 players.  The top 4 players from each of 10 different player of the year categories will be invited to compete.  If a player occupies a spot in multiple categories, they will have the option to choose which set-up they wish to compete in.  The CLW Invitational points lists can be found by clicking on the following link: CLW Invitational Points Lists 

FORMAT & SCHEDULE

36 holes of all vs. all, individual stroke play

• There are no practice rounds scheduled for this event.  However, Bobby Jones Golf Course is a public golf facility, so you may play there at any time for their regular rates.
• Round 1: 10:00 a.m. - 11:39 a.m. starting times at Cherokee Town & Country Club.
• Round 2: 9:30 a.m. shotgun start at Bobby Jones Golf Course utilizing the reversible routing playing both the Azalea and Magnolia layouts.

PRACTICE ROUND

Practice rounds are not provided for this competition.  However, Bobby Jones GC is a public golf facility and play is available by booking a starting time online.

YARDAGES & TEES

 Yardage books will be provided complimentary to players for both courses at registration.

A combination of tee markers and yardages will be utilized for the championship. Practice yardage sheets for each course are available on the event portal under the PLAYER INFORMATION section.  Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. 

STARTING TIMES

Pairing groups for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information on November 6. 

REGISTRATION

Formal registration will be held on site at Cherokee Town & Country Club on Friday, November 14 beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Player withdraws must be called or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted. By registering for this competition, you agree to all of GSGA's policies and procedures that can be accessed using the following link: GSGA Policies & Procedures

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available throughout the event.

• Lunch will be provided prior to the start of round 1.
• All players are invited to the "Celebration of Champions" event immediately following round 1 to take place at Cherokee Town & Country Club. Separate invitation to come.
• Breakfast will be provided prior to the start of round 2.
• Lunch will be provided during the play of round 2.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to the overall winner.
