Thanks to all those who played in the DDWGA Classic and thanks to Sugar Valley Golf Club for their hospitality.  Sugar Valley is led by Kerry Nelson, Head Golf Professional, Lea Rector, Food and Beverage Director, and Paul Double, Golf Course Superintendent.

 

Between the Course Drawing and 50/50 Raffle we were able to add $805 to the Scholarship Fund.

 

 

Congratulations to the winners of the Cup! The team of Penny Bitzer, Britt Platt, Deb Shartle and Peg Wynkoop representing Sugar Valley GC for won the Classic Club Challenge with a score of even par.  The trophy will be displayed at their home club.

 

The low round of the day was an impressive 4-under par by Ann Kneisly, Annette Clampitt, Carolyn Mindel and Jeanne Johnson.

 

 

We would also like to take another moment to recognize Mary Rice for the many contributions she has made to the game of golf, especially for ladies, in the Miami Valley.  As our Women's Course Rating Chair, Net competitions would not be possible without the hard work of Mary Rice and the entire Course Rating Team.

 

Those finishing well have merchandise credit to the Golf Shop at Sugar Valley Golf Club.  Please redeem your shop credit by October 31.
