42nd Middle-Amateur Championship Qualifying

Registration Open: Feb. 27 at 9 a.m.

Registration Close: March 27 at 11:59 p.m.

 

Registration Fee: $125 per player; players who successfully qualify will be required to remit an additional $110 championship fee.

 

Format: 18-hole individual stroke-play qualifying. 

 

Eligibility: Open to male GAP Member Club golfers who are 25 years of age or older with a Handicap Index of 5.0 or lower.

 

Field Size: The field is limited to the first 144 players entered. 

 

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds, for PLAYERS ONLY, have been made available on Wednesdays and Thursdays leading up to the event.  Players are asked to call the golf shop to arrange a practice round time.  The practice round fee is $50 and includes the use of a cart.  The preferred payment option is credit card.

 

Starting Times: Tee times begin at 7:30 a.m. in morning and afternoon waves unless field size warrants a change. 

 

Automotive Transportation: All players must take a cart. This does not prevent you from bringing a caddie but your golf bag must stay on the cart. It is GAP's policy that there be no more than two carts for a foursome/threesome and one cart for a twosome. The cart fee was included in your registration fee for the event.

 

Qualifying Positions: The number of qualifying positions available is based on the number of exempt entries and the number of entries at the qualifying sites. This information will be available in the Players Information after the entry close. 

 

Ties: The qualifying number and ties will gain entrance into the Championship. There will be no playoff for qualifying positions or alternates.
