2025 Mid-Amateur & Senior Metropolitan Championship

Dates: Tuesday & Wednesday, September 2nd & 3rd, 2025

Entry Fee: $175

 

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, at 11:59PM
 

Registration Includes: Greens fees, carts, range balls, and awards.
 

Starting Times: Tee times are scheduled to begin at 8:00AM

 

Rules of Play: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf of the USGA and R&A Limited and where applicable, by the Local Rules and Conditions set forth by the MVG.

 

Eligibility: Contestants must be residents of Ohio.

 

Format of Play: 36 holes of Stroke Play

 

Divisions of Play: Mid-Amateur Championship: Ages 25-49.  

Senior Metropolitan Divisions: Ages 50-64, Ages 65-74, Ages 75 & Older

 

Yardages: Ages 25-64: 6350-6550 yards / Ages 65-74: 6050-6250 yards / Ages 75 & Older: 5550-5850 Yards

 

Groupings Available: Groupings will be e-mailed to addresses provided on the entry form and at MiamiValleyGolf.org and on this event portal.

 

Dress Code: Clothing that respects the traditions of the game is required.  Short shorts, tank tops, and jeans of any nature are not permitted.  A non-metal spike is required.

Awards: Gift certificates will be awarded to the top finishers in each division.

 

Playoff:  If a tie exists after regulation play, a sudden victory playoff will determine the Champion.

Withdrawals: If you withdraw prior to the registration deadline, you will be refunded 95% of your registration fee.  Withdrawals after the registration deadline will be handled on a case by case basis.
