In preparation for this year’s event, please find the information below: 

 

Spectator Parking:

Pleasant Valley Country Club is hosting the Simmons Bank Championship the week of October 20-26.  Since the ASGA High school overall will take place during advance week, there will be continuous deliveries and activities in the parking lots of the club.  As a result the Club’s parking lot will not have the capacity to accommodate all of the spectators that wish to attend the High School Overall.  We have secured additional parking for all spectators at the First Baptist Church of Little Rock, 62 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR 72212.  Please use the entrance off of Rodney Parham Road that will take you into the upper parking lot of the Church.  Do not use the lower lot as their school will be in session and they will need this lot for drop off and pick-up.  We will have two SUV’s along with two six-seater golf carts that will shuttle spectators back and forth to the club beginning at 6:30A.M..  It is also a very short walking distance should spectators wish to walk.  We would like to thank the First Baptist Church of Little Rock for graciously helping accommodate spectator parking and making the ASGA High School Overall a success!

 

Spectators/Spectator Carts: 

Unfortunately, due to this event falling on the PGA Champions Tour’s “ADVANCE WEEK”, Spectator Carts WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE. All Spectators will be asked to walk the course and stay on or near the cart path. Additionally, all spectators will be asked to keep out of any grandstands, as they are still under construction!

 

Practice Rounds: 

All Females will be asked to play their practice round from the BLACK TEES (Approx. 5,885 yards) and all Males play from BLUE TEES (Approx. 6,785 yards). 

 

Player Parking:

A list of all participants has been submitted to Pleasant Valley Staff. Each participant will be allowed to park one vehicle on property for Wednesday and Thursday. Upon your arrival to the guard gate, please politely identify the player participating. Once you have passed the guard gate, you will find your parking spot labeled with the player name on your second left on the second level. It is your responsibility to park in the designated spot with the player's name. 

 

Starting Times: 

You may click HERE for your designated starting time. Please make sure that you arrive on property in time for the group picture mentioned below. All players are expected to arrive to #1 Tee Box 5-10 minutes prior to their designated start time.

 

Coaching: 

Please note that the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) ten-stroke rule is NOT in effect for this championship. All Coaching/Advice that is provided to each player by their coach must meet regulations of the AAA. Each coach will have the ability to rent one (1) golf cart for the day of the competition as well. Said golf cart must stay on the cart path at all times!

 

Group Picture:

Please be reminded of the mandatory meetings for both genders. All male participants will be required to meet outside the PV pro shop at 7:15 am and all female participants will be asked to meet outside the PV pro shop at 8:55 am. Per tradition, we will take a group photo per gender. 

 

Attire:

Reminder - All Male participants will be asked to wear pants for this year’s Championship. Also, both participants and spectators please be reminded of PVCC dress code. Denim (Blue jeans) cannot be worn on the property; all shirts must have a collar and be tucked in.

 

Lunches:

A Boxed lunch will be provided to every player in the field at the Halfway House located between #9 Green and #10 Tee Box. 

 

Awards Ceremony:

The competition will be closed once all scores are final and awards have been given out to both Divisions. Awards will include 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. In the event that there is a tie in either division for 1st or 2nd place, a sudden-death playoff will take place immediately following play as 1st and 2nd place for both divisions will qualify for the Simmons Bank Championship Pro-Am on Wednesday, October 22nd.
