2025 WA Golf Two-Day Rules of Golf Workshop - Spokane

Washington Golf will be conducting a two-day Rules of Golf Workshop to teach an abbreviated version of the Rules of Golf. Attendance is open to the public and the workshops are designed for those with all levels of Rules knowledge from beginner to advanced. The workshop will cover Rules 1-20 and will not have time to get in to alternate forms of play or team competitions. Attendees must register for both days and single day registration will not be available.
*PGA Professionals will receive fourteen (14) PGA PDR credits for attending the workshop.
Dates: Saturday & Sunday, March 8-9, 2025
Site: Kalispel Golf & Country Club, Spokane, Wash.
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 and 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9. Both session will have multiple breaks throughout the day and a hosted lunch served.
Seats Available: 50 seats
Cost: $60 per seat.
Registration Includes: Workshop, Rules of Golf book, Lunch Buffet, Coffee/Tea and Refreshments. Those wishing to purchase an Official Guide to the Rules of Golf can do so during registration for a cost of $15.

Instructors:
Mike Peluso – Mike has been an expert in the Rules of Golf for more than 20 years and serves as the Director of Rules Education and Recruitment for the Washington Junior Golf Association. He has officiated at all levels of amateur golf, including numerous USGA and NCAA National Championships.
Cathy Kay – Cathy has spent more than a decade as a Rules Official at WA Golf, PNGA, WJGA, WIAA and NCAA events. She is active in WJGA Rules education and is a certified Rules Expert, having attended the USGA/PGA Rules Workshop regularly over the past ten plus years.
Dress Code: Business casual or golf attire. Blue jeans, sweat pants, t-shirts or hats are not allowed.
Topics Covered: Rules 1-20 as well as the Definitions in the Rules of Golf will be covered during the course of the two sessions. Each workshop will have multiple breaks during the day as well as an hour break for lunch, which is included in the cost of registration. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and speak with instructors during breaks.
