93rd NJ Four-Ball Championship

Late entries will NOT be accepted.
The following teams are exempt from qualifying for the
93rd NJ Four-Ball Championship, provided they submit their entry
prior to the closing date and meet all other eligibility criteria:
1. NJ Four‐Ball Champions 2022-2024.*
2. Teams reaching the semi‐final round of the 2024 NJ Four‐Ball Championship.*
3. Teams that qualified for the 2024 or 2025 USGA Four-Ball Championship, BOTH players must meet all other eligibility requirements. A team can only use this exemption once.
4. One representative team of the host club. **
*‐ Under criteria 1 and 2, a team which enters as “exempt” must include BOTH players who gained that exemption as a team in order to qualify for exemption status.
**‐ The host club shall determine a representative team to participate which will be verified by the NJSGA.
ELIGIBILITY:
Entries open to teams of two amateur golfers who meet ALL of the following:
- Entrants must possess UNQUESTIONABLE Amateur Status.
- Entrants meet ALL of these Handicap and Membership Requirements:
- Individual USGA Handicap Index cannot exceed 8.0. When combined, team total index cannot exceed 12.0, as of the close of entries.
- Both players must be listed on the official GHIN Handicap roster at a member club/course as of close of entries.
- Both players must maintain good standing and remain on the above named GHIN Handicap Roster through the Championship proper.
- If entering from a public facility, or Club Without Real Estate, entrant must be a permanent resident of New Jersey. Proof of residency may be required.
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
Four-Ball, Stroke Play to Four-Ball Match Play. 36 teams of two players will comprise the Championship field which will include teams exempt from qualifying, plus those teams that advance from the qualifying sites (plus ties). One, 18-Hole, Stroke Play qualifying round will be played on Monday, May 12; the low 16 teams will advance to two days of Four-Ball Match Play on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 13-14. All matches 18 holes.
QUALIFYING ROUND FORMAT:
18-Holes, Four-Ball Stroke Play. Capacity at each qualifying site is limited; enter early. The number of teams (plus ties) that will qualify for the Championship will be announced in advance of the first qualifying round.
TRANSPORTATION:
Motorized transportation is PERMITTED at qualifying sites only at an additional cost to players.
Motorized transportation is PROHIBITED at the championship proper.
Caddies: Permitted; a player may bring his own caddie – or where available, reserve a club caddie.
Pull/Push Carts: Refer to specific Player Information Sheet for host club’s policy.
FINAL DECISION REGARDING ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE. THE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT OR WITHDRAW AN ENTRY AT ANY TIME, BEFORE OR DURING A COMPETITION OR MODIFY THE CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM ANYTIME, IN ITS DISCRETION.
