Women’s Amateur Championship: An eighteen (18) hole, Stroke Play qualifying round will be held on Tuesday, July 15.  The low 16 scorers will advance to two days (four rounds) of Match Play on Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 17 (two rounds of match play will be contested each day).  Any ties for the final qualifying place(s)into Match Play shall be decided by a hole-by-hole playoff which will begin immediately upon the completion of Tuesday’s play. The round of 16 and quarterfinal rounds of Match Play will be held on Wednesday, July 16; the semifinal matches and championship match will be held on Thursday, July 17.  All matches are eighteen (18) holes.

*The Champion will be exempt into the 2025 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at Bandon Dunes.

ELIGIBILITY: 
Entries are open to female amateur golfers who meet ALL of the following:

-Entrant must possess UNQUESTIONABLE Amateur Status.

-Entrant meet ALL of these Handicap and Membership Requirements:

• Hold a USGA Handicap Index of 9.6 or less, as of the close of entries, at a member club/course. She must be listed on this club’s Handicap Roster.
• Maintain good standing and remain on the above Handicap Roster through the Championship proper.

-If entering from a public facility, or Club Without Real Estate, entrant must be a permanent resident of New Jersey. Proof of residency may be required.

-NJ Golf Competitive Fairness Gender Policy

Transportation: Motorized transportation is PROHIBITED throughout this Championship.
Caddies: Permitted; a player may bring her own caddie, reserve a club caddie, or carry her own bag.
Pull/Push Carts: Refer to specific Notice to Players for host club’s policy.


 
PRIZES: 
Amateur Championship: The Women’s New Jersey State Championship Cup will be presented to the Champion, engraved with her name, and displayed at her home club. Prizes awarded to the match play semifinalists and runner up.

 
FINAL DECISION REGARDING ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES IS AT THE DISCRETION OF NJ GOLF. THE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT OR WITHDRAW AN ENTRY AT ANY TIME, BEFORE OR DURING A COMPETITION OR MODIFY THE CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM ANYTIME, IN ITS DISCRETION. IF NJ GOLF DETERMINES, IN ITS REASONABLE DISCREATION, THAT AN ENTRANT DOES NOT MEET THE ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS, THE ENTRANT MAY BE DISQUALIFIED, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER A CHAMPIONSHIP HAS BEEN PLAYED.
