Notice to Players
2025 WPGA Women’s Amateur Championships

This notice serves as confirmation for the 18th WPGA Women's Amateur Championships on Monday July 28th, Inaugural WPGA Women's Mid-Amateur Championship on July 28th, and the Ninth WPGA Women's Senior and WPGA Super-Senior Championships on Monday, July 28th at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, PA.
Format: 36-holes of stroke play for the Women's Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championships.18 holes of stroke play for the Senior Women's Amateur and Super-Senior Women's Amateur Championships.
Tee Markers: Play in the Women's Amateur Championship is from the WHITE WPGA tee markers and will play roughly 6,200 yards depending on conditions. Play in the Mid-Amateur Championship is from the BLUE WPGA tee markers and will roughly 5,900 yards depending on conditions. Play in the Senior Women's Amateur and Super-Senior Amateur Championships is from the GREEN WPGA tee markers and will play roughly 5,200 yards depending on conditions.
Practice: Practice rounds can be scheduled by contacting the golf shop at 412-963-7885. The Golf Professional is Alexander Childs. Practice rounds are available on July 27th after 2:00 PM or at the discretion of the golf shop. Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player.
Transportation/Caddies: Golf carts are permitted for the competition and are included in the entry fee. Caddies are permitted for the Championship. Fox Chapel Caddies are limited and need to be reserved by Friday, July 25th at 12:00pm.
Footwear: Model Local Rule G-7 Prohibiting Use of Certain Types of Shoes is in effect. Shoes with traditional spikes or spikes of any design that are entirely or partially made of metal is prohibited.
Lodging: Lodging of various price ranges can be found in the Fox Chapel/Oakmont areas.
Food & Beverage: Whole fruits, coffee, and juice will be available prior to the round. Lunch is included in the entry fee and will be provided for players after the round. All other food & beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.
Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and twenty minutes (4:20). A four-point checkpoint system will be in place for the competition. Please review the WPGA Pace of Play Policy.
Evacuation Plan: In the event of a suspension of play for a dangerous situation, players should immediately return to the clubhouse or the nearest available shelter.
Note: A suspension for a dangerous situation will be signaled by one prolonged air horn note. All other types of suspension will be signaled by three consecutive air horn notes, repeated. Resumption of play will be signaled by two short air horn notes, repeated.
Spectator Info: No spectator carts are permitted for the Championship.
