Notice to Players
Second WPGA Women's Triple Play Tournament
Monday September 8th, 2025 at Grove City Country Club, Grove City, PA


Format: The competition is 18 holes of Variable Net Team Stroke Play. Scoring is Best 1 ball of 4 on Stroke Index Holes 1 thru 6, Better 2 balls of 4 on Stroke Index Holes 7 thru 12 and Better 3 balls of 4 on Stroke Index Holes 13 thru 18. The Handicap Allowance for each team member is 80%. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. In the event of a tie for first place a hole-by-hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee.

Tee Markers: Play will be from the White WPGA tee markers (approximately 5,200 Yards). Yardages will be contingent on course conditions.

Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and twenty minutes (4:20). A checkpoint system will be in place for the tournament.

Practice: Practice rounds are not permitted. The practice area will open at 8:00 am on the day of the competition.

Transportation/Caddies: Automotive transportation is permitted for the competition and included in the entry fee. Caddies are also permitted and must walk in performance of their duties.

Footwear: Prohibiting Use of Certain Types of Shoes: Model Local Rule G-7 as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Spikes of any design that are entirely or partially made of metal, if such metal may come in contact with the course, is prohibited.

Food: The WPGA provides water on course, and lunch will be provided at the completion of your round. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

Lodging: Lodging of various price ranges can be found in the Grove City area.  

Spectator Info: No spectator carts will be permitted. Directions to the club can be found on the Grove City Country Club website.
