Notice to Players
32nd WPGA Spring Stroke Play Championship

Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 - Pittsburgh Field Club, Pittsburgh, PA
This notice serves as confirmation for entry into the WPGA Spring Stroke Play Championship on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at Pittsburgh Field Club in Pittsburgh, PA. Additional information will be distributed on the starting tees. The locker room and practice facility will open at least one hour before the first tee time on the day of the tournament.
At least one member of each grouping is required to download the Golf Genius scoring app prior to arrival. The group's GGID will be provided on the starting tee.
Format: The competition is 36 holes of stroke play. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and any Local Rules and Conditions distributed at the starting tees. In the event of a tie for first place, a hole-by-hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee.
Tee Markers: Play will be from the WPGA White Tee Markers. The course will play par 71 at 6700 yards depending on conditions and subject to change. The starting tees will be holes # 1 and # 10 for both the morning and afternoon rounds.
Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and twenty minutes (4:20). A checkpoint system will be in place.
Practice: Practice rounds are not available.
Transportation/Caddies: Carts are permitted for the competition and included in the entry fee. Pittsburgh Field Club caddies can be arranged by calling the Pro Shop at 412-963-8500. PFC caddies are at the players expense and are limited.Players are allowed to bring their own caddies.
Food: Lunch is included and will be available at the conclusion of the morning round.
Footwear: Model Local Rule G-7 Prohibiting the Use of Certain Types of Shoes is in effect. Shoes with traditional metal spikes or spikes of any design that are partially or entirely made of metal are prohibited.
Lodging: Lodging of various price ranges can be found in the Pittsburgh & Fox Chapel area.
Evacuation Plan: In the event of a suspension of play for a dangerous situation, all players are to immediately return to the clubhouse. WPGA staff and volunteers will assist in the evacuation.
NOTE: A suspension of play for a dangerous situation will be signaled by one prolonged air horn note. All other suspensions of play will be signaled by three consecutive air horn notes. Resumption of play will be signaled by two short air horn notes.
Spectator Info: No spectator carts will be permitted for the round without pre-approved ADA verification. Please contact the WPGA office for ADA guidelines.
