TEE MARKERS: USGA FORMAT: 18-holes, stroke play
QUALIFIERS: 3 ALTERNATES: 2
TIES & PLAYOFFS: In the event of a tie for the final qualifying spot and/or any alternate position, a hole-by-hole playoff will be conducted immediately following play.
EVACUATION PLAN: In the event play is suspended for a dangerous situation (lightning), players are to return to the Clubhouse. The signal for a suspension due to a dangerous situation is two (2) prolonged horn blasts.
Rules are governed by the Rules of Golf, USGA Terms of Competition, Notice to Competitors, Memo to Players
and the following local rules. Disregard all local rules printed on the local card.
ELECTRONIC SCORING: Per the information posted on the Qualifying webpage, the official method of scoring will be digital by use of the Golf Genius Mobile App. Players are expected to Certify as both the Marker and Player in the app. Players should report to the Scoring Area for verification of scores prior to certifying the scores through the app.
ELECTRONIC MEASURING DEVICES: Per the 2025 USGA Terms of Competition, distance measuring devices ARE permitted. However, information gained from their use must be limited to DISTANCE ONLY.
PACE OF PLAY/UNREASONABLE DELAY (RULE 5.6): Players are expected to play without delay, and groups are expected to remain in position with the group immediately in front of it. Timing sheets showing the time by when each hole must be completed are posted on the Qualifying webpage. Groups who fall out of position will be WARNED (First breach) and are subject to monitoring and timing by a Rules official. Players are expected to play a stroke within 40 seconds from when it is their time to play. Players who receive a bad time after being warned will receive One penalty stroke. Players who receive a second bad time will receive Two penalty strokes. The expected pace of play is 4:28 for 18 holes. Penalty for Breach of Rule 5.6a: First breach: Warning; Second breach: One penalty stroke; Third breach: Two penalty strokes; Fourth breach: DISQUALIFICATION.
GROUND UNDER REPAIR: Areas circled with white lines. The Mulched areas surrounding trees are not ground under repair but pieces of mulch are loose impediments.
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS: The following are immovable obstructions:
(1) Landscaped areas completely encircled by cart paths are treated as part of the path,
(2) Stone pavers adjacent to a cart path are treated as part of the path, and
(3) Stakes and wires supporting trees are treated as immovable obstructions.
OUT OF BOUNDS: In addition to white stakes, the following items define the boundaries.
(1) Hole #1: The inside (golf course) edge of the netting poles adjacent to the driving range,
(2) Hole #2: The inside (golf course) edge of the parking lot curbing, and
(3) Hole #3: The ground on the opposite side of the penalty area.
PENALTY AREAS: When both stakes and lines are used, penalty areas are identified by stakes and defined by lines.
OTHER INFORMATION:
(1) MODEL LOCAL RULE F-5: IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS CLOSE TO PUTTING GREEN is NOT in effect.
(2) The BLUE STAKES have no status under the Rules.
(3) DRINKING WATER may be found at the Grill Turn Station as well as at or near the teeing agrea on Holes #4, 6, 8, 12, 15 and 17.
(4) REST AREAS may be found at the Grill Turn Station as well as at or near the teeing agrea on Holes # 6, 12, 15 and 17.
