PLAYERS MEMORANDUM FOR USGA QUALIFYING
The following are matters pertinent to your participation in the above-referenced USGA Qualifying Round. The following supplements the Championship regulations in the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open Championship presented by Ally Entry Application and is in addition to the Local Rules and Terms of Competition and Notice to Players (prepared by the Committee and will be issued at the participants starting hole):

QUALIFYING PORTAL LINK: 2025 U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING PORTAL
FORMAT/FIELD SIZE/QUALIFYING PLACES: 36 holes of stroke play qualifying. Final field is as follows: 78 PLAYERS. TWO (2) QUALIFYING SPOTS will be available. TWO (2) ALTERNATE SPOTS will also be identified. Any tie(s) for the final qualifying spot(s) or to determine the alternate positions, will be decided by a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following the conclusion of play.

PLAYOFF: Any play-off for the final Qualifying Spot(s) and/or to determine the two Alternate Spot(s) will take place immediately following the conclusion of the Qualifying Rounds. All announcements will be made at the Scoreboard at St. Clair Country Club.
CHECK-IN/STARTING TIME: There is no formal check-in requirement. Players MUST be ready to play at the starting time and starting hole set by the Committee. A starting time set by the Committee is treated as an exact time (for example, 9am means 9:00:00am, not any time until 9:01am).
PRACTICE: St. Clair CC will be available to each participant for ONE practice round by calling the golf shop at (618) 398-3402 to schedule a practice time as follows: Local Participants: May call to schedule your practice time any time (not disruptive to member play) prior to April 28th.
Out of Town Participants: Times have been reserved for Sunday (April 27th) to schedule a practice round time.

CONFORMING GROOVES TERMS OF COMPETITION has been adopted. See Model Local Rule G-2 on the Conforming Grooves Terms of Competition memorandum which can be found under USGA Policies on the portal at the following link: CONFORMING GROOVES
FOOTWEAR: Model Local Rule G-7 as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect.
WATER ON GOLF COURSE: Players will be provided with a bottle of water at their starting hole and additional coolers will be situated on the golf course with bottled water. Additionally, water and sports drinks will be at the players Hole 10 Tee.
AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION and CADDIES: Automotive transportation is prohibited, players and caddies MUST WALK at all times unless designated by the Committee. A player may provide his own caddie or carry his own clubs. Pull carts are allowed.
SPECTATOR CARTS: Spectator Carts will NOT be available for the Qualifying Round(s).
PACE OF PLAY: Metropolitan/USGA Pace of Play Policy for 2025 USGA Championship Qualifying is available under Player Information at the following link: PACE OF PLAY POLICY. All players will be required to play within the parameters of these Guidelines.
FOOD SERVICE: Food service will be available at St. Clair CC during the day, including quick lunch options for players/caddies between rounds.
GROUPINGS/STARTING TIMES: Groupings and Starting Times will be published and found on the Qualifying Portal link above on Wednesday, April 23. An email will be sent that day as well when published with your Round 1 Starting Time.
SCORING: Golf Genius Tournament Management Live Scoring will be available on the website the day of the Qualifying Round and via the Golf Genius app using GGID: MJGCDJ
