- Field:
The Championship field will be sixty-four (64) players comprised of the Defending Champion, Exemptions and the Qualifiers. In the event there is a tie for the final position, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff on the course immediately following the conclusion of the Stroke Play Qualifying. In the event the Defending Champion does not enter, 16 players will advance to Match Play. (NOTE: The Defending Champion may play in the Stroke Play Qualifying as a practice round, but it is not required.)
- Seeding:
The Defending Champion (if entered) will be seeded #1. All other players will be seeded based on their position in the Stroke Play Qualifying. If a tie exists at a score, the USGA recommended procedure for a "scorecard playoff" will be followed to determine seeding.

(1) Exempt Player: The open spot will be filled by the highest ranking alternate from the Overall Alternate List.
