VSWGA Fees:  Registration costs $15/player.  Preliminary tee sheets can be viewed on this website in the Tee Sheet drop down menu.  The event info is listed below.  This info will also be sent via email by the Friday before the event.

Cancellations/Refunds: 

  • There will be no refunds for cancellations after 7:00 a.m. the day before the State Day.
  • If you cancel prior to 7:00 a.m. the day before the State Day, there will be a $5 refund per person cancelled.
  • Remember, there are no full refunds, so be sure you and your friend can play the event before registering. 

Pace of Play

  • Pace of Play is 4 hours 15 min. 
  • Player’s starting time and finishing time must be recorded on the completed scorecard:
    • Starting Time:  Time that the first player in the group tees off of 1.
    • Finish Time:  Time when the last player finishes 18.
  • USGA Rule 5.6 encourages prompt play and ready golf, even playing out of turn, in a safe and responsible manner to save or make up playing time.
  • Remember that you are only allowed 3 minutes to look for a lost ball.

Course and Cart Fees:

  • Players must pay the course and cart fees directly to the club through the Pro Shop.
  • Course fee is $25 per person. 
  • Cart fee is $28 per person.  Walking is permitted, no fee. Golfers do NOT need to call the Golf Shop to reserve a cart, but please note that carts will be reused for this event. Players with earlier times should return carts promptly and players with later times may have to wait for a cart.  Please be respectful of staff if this happens.  PP is a beautiful course to walk, so if you're able, you're welcome to walk at no fee. 

 Other Info:

  • There will be 2 Closest to the Pin Holes available, Hole #7 and Hole #11. 
  • $10 skins ($5 gross and $5 net).
  • This is a forward tee offered event.  Golfers will play from the Red/Green (regular 5116 yds) tees or the Green (forward 4171 yds) tees.
    • A note from Liz, the club rep: This is listed on the scorecards as red/yellow in the GHIN system as red/yellow or red/gray. Also the Green (Forward) tee is on the card as Yellow.  Two years ago the yellow tees were replace with grey marble, which has matured and is not green colored.  We will be playing the red/green combo as the regular tees . Forward tees will be the green tees.  It is the players responsibility to play from the correct tees.   If you have any confusion while playing, call the pro shop. 
  • Water coolers are available on holes 4, 7, 15 and in the restaurant.
