ELIGIBILITY
- Open to female VSGA members of all ages. See the USGA Competitive Fairness Gender Policy for gender eligibility criteria.
- All participants must hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA member club in good standing.
- All participants must meet the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.

ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE
All players are required to submit an entry form with the entry fee of $225 by Monday, July 7, 2025.
- Entry fee includes all course fees (including cart) for all rounds of competition.
- The VSGA will negotiate a discounted practice fee with host club.
FIELD SIZE/TOURNAMENT MAKE-UP
- The field will be limited to 72 players for stroke play qualifying.
- The field will be cut to 56 players after stroke play qualifying.
- Those who do not qualify for match play will be issued a partial refund of their entry and may be offered an additional stroke play round at the host club or nearby facility for a discounted rate.
- The following will receive priority acceptance:
- All former champions and all players making the championship flight in 2024.
- All amateurs who make the cut at the 2025 Women's Open of Virginia.
- Top 30 amateurs from the 2024 VSGA Women’s Player Rankings
- Top 15 amateur entries from WAGR rankings (top 30 amateurs from category above do not count in this total)
- Three spots will be reserved for the host club.
- The remaining spots will be filled by handicap index as of the deadline.
FORMAT
- 18-hole on-site stroke play qualifying played from approximately 6,300 yards.
- Low 16 scorers qualify for Championship Flight and will be seeded by score.
- Remaining players will be flighted and seeded by score into flights of 8 and will play from approximately 5,800 yards.
Championship Proper
July 14 – Stroke play qualifying
July 15 – Round of 16 and Quarterfinals for Championship flight / Quarterfinals for all other flights.
July 16 – Semifinals and Final matches for Championship and all flights.
PRIZES
- The overall champion's name will be engraved on the Kohler Trophy and will receive an exemption into the 2025 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.
- The stroke play medalist's name will be engraved on the Ann Pollard Trophy and receive a VSGA medal.
- The Champion and Finalist in the Championship flight will receive gift certificates and trophies.
- Championship flight semifinalists and players who make it to their final match in all other fights will receive gift certificates.
