Massachusetts Amateur Public Links Qualifying - Crystal Lake Golf Club

Practice Rounds: Players may arrange a practice round by contacting the golf shop and identifying themselves as a competitor in the field. Practice rounds will be offered based on club availability within the timeframes listed below.
Availability:
- June 13th-June 22nd
- Monday-Thursday, From 11 PM - 1 PM
- Friday-Sunday, After 1 PM
Notes:
- There will be a mandatory cart/trail fee of $35 (walking or riding). No caddies or riders allowed.
- Competitors will be limited to one practice round and will be paired up with other competitors.
- Please limit your practice round to one ball on each hole and be aware of your pace of play with surrounding groups.

Competition Tees/ Yardage: The competition will be played from the BLUE tee yardage (Approx. 6,150 yards; par 71).

Starting Times: Play will begin at 7:30am off the 1st tee and 10th tee. Pairings & Starting Times will be available after the close of entries and can be accessed by clicking the "Starting Times & Parings" tab above. There will be no registration on the day of the event, please report to your scheduled starting tee to receive local rules, hole locations, scorecard, etc. at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 11 players and ties will advance to the Championship Proper at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club (July 29th-July 30th). Alternates will be assigned per the Mass Golf alternate policy. There will be no playoffs for qualifying or alternate spots. The number of qualifying spots is subject to change based on any withdrawals prior to the competition.
DUE TO FORECASTED TEMPERATURES AND AN EXTREME HEAT WARNING - THE QUALIFIER HAS BEEN SPLIT INTO TWO SEPARATE 9-HOLE QUALIFIERS (FRONT 9 & BACK 9). EACH QUALIFIER WILL ADVANCE 6 PLAYERS & TIES INTO THE CHAMPIONSHIP PROPER.
Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation is available during the qualifying round at the player's expense - $22. Automotive transportation will NOT be permitted for the Championship proper. Please Note: Per the Mass Golf Policies & Procedures, no more than two carts will be permitted per starting time.
Caddies: Caddies are permitted. Caddies may ride in a golf cart if space permits, but no more than two carts will be permitted per starting time.
Club Facilities: Open and available starting at 6:30am. Food & beverage will be available at the player's expense at the clubhouse starting at 10:30 AM. Snack/beverages will be available all day.
Practice Range: Crystal Lake does NOT have a driving range. Available is a chipping green and two putting greens. Garrison Par 3 Golf Center is 5 minutes away from the golf course.
Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the Mass Golf Hard Card. It is the individual's player's responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.

Score Posting: All scores from individual stroke play events (qualifiers & championships) will be automatically posted to a player's Mass Golf/USGA Handicap Index by the Mass Golf Staff.
