Massachusetts Junior Amateur Qualifying - Bayberry Links

Practice RoundsPlayers may arrange a practice round by contacting the golf shop and identifying themselves as a competitor in the field. Practice rounds will be offered based on club availability.

 

Availability:

  • Monday - Thursday after noon
  • Weekends after 2 PM

 

Notes:

  • There will be a mandatory cart/trail fee of $20. 
  • Competitors will be limited to one practice round and may be paired up with other competitors.
  • Please limit your practice round to one ball on each hole and be aware of your pace of play with surrounding groups. 
  • All tee times will be teeing of the links.

Competition Tees/ Yardage: The competition will be played from the BLUE tee yardage (Approx. 6,240 yards; par 72). 

 

Starting Times: Play will begin at 7:30 am off the 1st tee. Pairings & Starting Times will be available after the close of entries and can be accessed by clicking the "Starting Times & Parings" tab above. There will be no registration on the day of the event, please report to your scheduled starting tee to receive local rules, hole locations, scorecard, etc. at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time.

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 5 players and ties will advance to the Championship Proper at Franklin Country Club on August 4th - August 7th. Alternates will be assigned per the Mass Golf alternate policy. There will be no playoffs for qualifying or alternate spots. The number of qualifying spots is subject to change based on any withdrawals prior to the competition.

 

Golf Carts, Caddies, & Push/Pull Carts: The use of golf carts and/or caddies is NOT PERMITTED at Massachusetts Junior Amateur Qualifying. Push/Pull carts are permitted.

 

Club Facilities: Open and available starting at 6:30 am. Mass Golf will provide lunch for competitors following the conclusion of their round.

Practice Range: TBD

 

Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the Mass Golf Hard Card. It is the individual's player's responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.
