2025 U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifying & U.S Girls Junior Amateur Qualifying

Practice RoundsPlayers may arrange a practice round by contacting the golf shop and identifying themselves as a competitor in the field. Practice rounds will be offered based on club availability within the timeframes listed below. 

 

Availability:

  • Call the golf shop (413-532-2307) to schedule a practice round. Weekends will be available after 1 p.m. 

 

Notes:

  • Competitors will be limited to one practice round and may be paired up with other competitors.
  • Please limit your practice round to one ball on each hole and be aware of your pace of play with surrounding groups. 

 

Starting Times:  U.S. Junior competitors will tee off 1st & 10th tee starting at 8:00 a.m. U.S. Girls competitors will tee off 10th tee starting at 12:30 p.m. Pairings & Starting Times will be available after the close of entries and can be accessed by clicking the "Starting Times & Parings" tab above. There will be no registration on the day of the event, please report to your scheduled starting tee to receive local rules, hole locations, scorecard, etc. at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time.

 

Withdrawals:  To withdraw from a qualifier, please login to the USGA Portal and click WITHDRAW and select the Championship and Reason for withdrawing. If applicable, any refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. Once submitted, all withdrawals are final. If you need to withdraw within 48 hours of the qualifier, please also e-mail Grace McKinnon at gmckinnon@massgolf.org. 

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available:

 

U.S. Junior:

3 Qualifying Spot(s) and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to the 77th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Trinity Forest Golf Club, Dallas, TX on July 21st - 26th, 2025.

 

U.S. Girls':

2 Qualifying Spot(s) and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to the 76th U.S. Girls Junior Amateur Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club (Riverside Course), Johns Creek, GA on July 14th - July 19th, 2025

 

Distance Devices:  The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

 

Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation will NOT be permitted during the player's round. Pull/push carts will be permitted.

 

Caddies & Push Carts:  Players are permitted to employ a caddy and/or use a push cart. Club caddies are not available through the The Ledges GC Pro Shop. EXCEPTION: A player must not use a parent, step parent, or guardian as a caddie during Qualifying or the Championship proper. Please note, this is a USGA policy, and any questions or concerns about this policy should be directed to the USGA Championship staff. 

 

Competition Tees/ Yardage: Competition Tees & Yardage are approximate and subject to change. 

 

U.S. Junior competitors: Black tees (Approx. 6,500 yards, Par 72)

U.S. Girls' competitors: Blue tees (Approx. 6,100 yards, Par 72)

 

Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: 

The Driving Range is located on-site near the 15th tee. Golf carts are not allowed to be driven to the driving range; you must drive your car there. There will be balls out on the range. 

 

Food & Beverage: Lunch will be available for purchase.

Dress Code:  Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application.

*There will be no registration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to receive local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
