ELIGIBILITY
Any two-person team of male amateur golfers (age 21+ as of Sept. 16, 2025) who have an active Mass Golf Membership and Handicap Index® (per player) between 8.1 and 18.0 not exceeding 12.0 (at the time of registration). Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.
ENTRIES: FEE, CLOSING DATE, REFUNDS
All teams must submit and complete payment of an online registration through the Mass Golf event registrations system by 5:00pm EDT on the published entry deadline. CLICK HERE to view all applicable withdrawal and refund polices.

FIELD
The field will be limited to 96 teams. Registrations for the Net Four-Ball Championship are based on a random lottery process outlined HERE.
SCHEDULE
Tuesday, Sept. 16 – Round 1, 18 holes
- AM Shotgun - 48 teams | PM Shotgun - 48 teams; all teams regardless of shotgun assignment will be competing for the overall championship.
- Any ties for first place only will be decided by the USGA card match method.
FORMAT
Net Four-Ball stroke play. Playing Handicaps will be calculated using 85% of a player’s 12-month low handicap index based on the September 11, 2025 Handicap Revision. Handicap indexes used to determine a competitors Playing Handicap will not exceed 18.0 and any Playing Handicaps will be maxed at 18.0.
TROPHIES & PRIZES
The winners will receive the Net Four-Ball Championship Trophy. Players finishing in the top ten places & ties will receive merchandise certificates that are only redeemable at the host site.
CADDIES/GOLF CARTS
The use of golf carts is permitted, and fees are included in the championship entry fee. Players may also use push/pull carts (including electric) at the host club’s discretion. The use of caddies will NOT be permitted.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
A Mass Golf sponsored lunch will be available for all competitors on Sept. 16. Additional food & beverage details and availability will be outlined on the player information sheet.
LOCAL RULES; TERMS OF THE COMPETITION; SCHEDULES
The Mass Golf Board of Directors/on-site Rules Committee reserves the right to alter any of the Local Rules, Terms of the Competition, provisions and/or schedules. The decision of the Board of Directors/on-site Rules Committee in any matter will be final.

STARTING TIMES & PLAYER INFORMATION
Championship information, including tee times, pairings and player information will be emailed to all competitors and posted to the Net Four-Ball Championship website shortly after entries close.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Practice round opportunities/access may be available at the discretions of the host club(s). Details regarding practice rounds will be shared with competitors during the registration process and/or at the close of entries. Competitors are asked to refrain from contacting host club(s) regarding practice rounds until they receive official details from Mass Golf.
