This is a pending registration for a random lottery selection to determine the players to participate in the Vermont National Country Club State Day on Sep 9. This pending registration will close on Aug 28. You will be notified of the results of the lottery on Aug 28 and your credit card will then be charged only if you are selected to play. 

 

When you register, please be sure to indicate your preferred tee time and any other players you would like to be paired with. Players can register as singles, twosomes or foursomes. Threesomes will be unable to register.  Players on the pending registration list in the order assigned by the lottery process will be notified as soon as possible if they are selected to fill an open slot.  Players not selected in the immediate draw will be kept on the pending registration registration list and will be automatically confirmed if a slot becomes available. If you do not wish to be kept on the pending registration list, notify vswgaquestions@gmail.com to be removed. 

 

 

VSWGA Fees:  Registration costs $15/player. Preliminary tee sheets can be viewed on this website in the Tee Sheet drop down menu.  The event info is listed below.  This info will also be sent via email by the Friday before the event.

 

Course and Cart Fees:

  • Players must pay the course and cart fees directly to the club through the Pro Shop.
  • Course fee is $25 per person. 
  • Cart fee is $40 (includes tax) per person.  
  • Carts are mandatory. Golfers do NOT need to call the Golf Shop to reserve a cart. Two carts allowed per foursome, please.

 

Cancellations/Refunds: 

  • There will be no refunds for cancellations after 7:00 a.m. the day before the State Day.
  • If you cancel prior to 7:00 a.m. the day before the State Day, there will be a $5 refund per person cancelled.
  • Remember, there are no full refunds, so be sure you and your friend can play the event before registering. 

 

Pace of Play

  • Pace of Play is 4 hours 10 minutes. 
  • Player’s starting time and finishing time must be recorded on the completed scorecard:
    • Starting Time:  Time that the first player in the group tees off of 1.
    • Finish Time:  Time when the last player finishes 18.
  • USGA Rule 5.6 encourages prompt play and ready golf, even playing out of turn, in a safe and responsible manner to save or make up playing time.

 

Local Rules

  • Drop zones on 3, 8 and 12.
  • Local rules will be handed out to players on the day of the event.

 

Other Info:

  • There will be 2 Closest to the Pin Holes available, Hole #8 and Hole #15. 
  • $10 skins. $5 gross and $5 net.
  • This is also a forward tee available event.  Players will decide whether they want to golf from:
    • Red (Forward tees) - 4047 yards
    • Green Tees (Regular tees) - 4998 yards
  • Water is available from a fill station at the pro shop and on the course.  Bring your own water bottle.
