PLAYERS MEMORANDUM FOR METROPOLITAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
The following are matters pertinent to your participation in the above-referenced Metropolitan Amateur Championship. The following supplements the Championship regulations in the Championship Entry Application and is in addition to the Local Rules and Terms of Competition and Notice to Players (prepared by the Committee and will be issued at the participants starting hole):

QUALIFYING PORTAL LINK: 2025 METROPOLITAN AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING PORTAL
FORMAT/FIELD SIZE/QUALIFYING PLACES: 18 holes of individual stroke play qualifying. 80 players is the final field size after close of entries. Final number of qualifying spots will be determined.

PLAYOFF: Any play-off for the final Qualifying Spot(s) and/or to determine the final Alternate Spot(s) will take place immediately following the conclusion of the Qualifying Rounds. All announcements will be made at the Scoreboard at Birch Creek Golf Club.
CHECK-IN/STARTING TIME: There is no formal check-in requirement. Players MUST be ready to play at the starting time and starting hole set by the Committee. A starting time set by the Committee is treated as an exact time (for example, 9am means 9:00:00am, not any time until 9:01am).
PRACTICE: Practice Rounds are NOT included in the entry fee. You may schedule a tee time directly with Birch Creek GC.
GOLF COURSE SETUP: Qualifying Round will be conducted from the CHAMPIONSHIP TEES at Birch Creek.
FOOTWEAR: Model Local Rule G-7 as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect.
WATER ON GOLF COURSE: Players will be provided with a bottle of water at their starting hole and additional coolers will be situated on the golf course with bottled water. Additionally, water and sports drinks will be at the players Hole 10 Tee.
AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION and CADDIES: Automotive transportation is permitted during the Qualifying round. Carts, if used, are at the player's expense. A player may provide his own caddie or carry his own clubs. Pull carts are allowed.
SPECTATOR CARTS: Spectator Carts will NOT be available for the Qualifying Round(s).
PACE OF PLAY: Metropolitan/USGA Pace of Play Policy for 34th Metropolitan Amateur Championship Qualifying is available under Player Information at the following link: PACE OF PLAY POLICY. All players will be required to play within the parameters of these Guidelines.
GOLF GENIUS LIVE SCORING: We will utilize Golf Genius live scoring for the qualifying round. One (1) golfer in each group will be asked to input scores during the round for the group.
GROUPINGS/STARTING TIMES/SCORING: Groupings and Starting Times will be found on the Qualifying Portal link above. Golf Genius Live Scoring will be available on the website the day(s) of the Qualifying Rounds and via the Golf Genius app using GGID: GR9UZ8
