TERMS OF THE COMPETITION

ELIGIBILITY

This championship is limited to teams consisting of at least one player who is a member of the SDGA.

  • Membership: Players must hold an active USGA/GHIN Handicap Index at a 2025 SDGA Member Club or be a member of the NYSGA eClub of Central NY (Territory defined as residing in the following counties: Onondaga, Cortland, Cayuga, Madison, Oswego, Oneida, Seneca, Tompkins, and Wayne County east of Route 14 ).

  • Age: There are no age restrictions.

  • Relationship: A team can include a father/son, father/daughter, grandfather/grandson, or grandfather/granddaughter.

Note:  A father can compete on up to three teams ($60 for each additional child).

 

FIELD SIZE AND WAIT LIST

The field is limited to the first 50 players to apply. After the field limit is reached, players will be placed on a wait list in order by their time of registration.

 

ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY

  • Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.

  • Entry Fee: $120 per team ($60 for each additional child). This includes one round of golf, lunch, prizes, and awards (carts and range are not included).

  • Deadline: Entries must be received prior to the deadline (12PM EST on Monday, June 9, 2025). Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.

  • Refund Policy:

    • Withdrawal PRIOR TO entry deadline: Entry fee less $20

    • Withdrawal AFTER entry deadline: Entry fee less $50

    • Withdrawal WITHIN 2 DAYS of the competition: No Refund

 

FORMAT AND DIVISIONS

The format is 18 holes of two-person scramble. There are two divisions, which a team must select during registration: scratch or handicap (Callaway). Males shall play from the Men’s Tees and Females shall play from the Ladies Tees.

 

RULES

Players will be provided a "Notice to Players" rules sheet containing local rules and conditions. The SDGA will provide access to a rules certified USGA Rules official to provide rulings and answer questions.

GOLF CARTS

The golf cart rental fee is $25 per player, payable in the pro shop (cash or credit).

 

RANGE

Access to the range is provided compliments of Cazenovia Golf Club.

 

AWARDS

Trophies will be awarded to the winners. 

 

PLAYER LUNCH

Players are provided a complimentary lunch starting one hour prior to the shotgun start (12pm).
