Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members, age 25 and older on or before April 28, 2025.

Registration Opens: Friday, March 14, 2025 at 08:00 AM

Registration Deadline: Monday, April 14, 2025 at 05:00 PM

Entry Fee: $125.00

Field Size: Maximum of 64 players, exempt and non-exempt. 

Exemptions: All players will be placed in pending status when registering. Players who are "exempt" will be admitted into the field with first priority. Any remaining spots in the field will be filled by non-exempt players in order of registration. Once the 64 player limit is filled, all other players will be placed on the waitlist. Players still on the waitlist as of the first day of the Round of 64 will be dropped from the waitlist. 

Format: This is a 64 player match play event played in single elimination over a period of May – September. Each round’s matches are 18 hole matches. The Round of 64, 32, 16 and quarterfinals will be played by players scheduling their matches with their opponent on their own, at a course of their own choosing.

Timing/Schedule of Matches – The entire championship will be played between April 28th and October 8th.

• Round of 64 - April 28th through June 6th
• Round of 32 – June 9th through July 7th
• Round of 16 – July 14th through August 15th
• Quarterfinals – August 18th through September 15th
• Semi-Finals & Finals – October 8th at Cherry Hills

Yardages – Matches should be played from a tee that is between 6,800 – 7,200 yards

Match Extensions – Players will be able to request an extension of the match window once. The extension will be no more than one (1) week after the match deadline of that round. The extension does not apply to the Semi-Final and Final round. Players must notify Lewis (lharry@coloradogolf.org) before the end of the round window to receive the extension. If the match is still not completed by the end of the extension, the winner of the match will be decided by draw.

Results Reporting: The winner of each match must report the result of the match by emailing Lewis (lharry@coloradogolf.org)

Seeding – The bracket will be seeded as follows:

• Exempt Players - Will be seeded using the order of the exemption categories. 
• Non-Exempt Players - Will be seeded using handicap index as of the registration deadline. 

Tee Times (Semi-finals and Finals will be at Cherry Hills Country Club)

• Semi-Finals: 8:20am and 8:30am
• Final Match: 12:45pm (Updated from 1:30pm)

Caddies: For players in the Semi-Finals and Finals, club caddies are mandatory at Cherry Hills Country Club, Anywhere. Players may not bring their own caddie. The base caddie fee is covered by the CGA. The player is responsible for any gratuity. 
 

Practice Round Information: 

Player Food: Food will be available for purchase inside the restaurant at Cherry Hills Country Club, Anywhere the player's expense. 

Score Posting: The CGA does not post match play scores to GHIN but will provide the CR/Slope for Cherry Hills Country Club, Anywhere.
