2026 SDGA WILLIAMSON CUP POY SCHEDULE

The top-4 juniors on the points list will be invited to compete for the SDGA Williamson Cup team. The 2026 Williamson Cup will be hosted by the Metropolitan Golf Association at Knickerbocker Country Club on August 10th &11th 2026. The leader in Williamson cup points will be the SDGA Junior Player of the Year.

ELIGIBILITY & FAQS

  • Eligibility: Players must be no older than 18 as of August 4th, 2026 & Players must hold an active USGA/GHIN Handicap Index at a 2026 SDGA Member Club or be a member of the NYSGA eClub of Central NY (Territory defined as residing in the following counties: Onondaga, Cortland, Cayuga, Madison, Oswego, Oneida, Seneca, Tompkins, and Wayne County east of Route 14 ).
  • Ties: Ties for positions in stroke play competitions will split points evenly.
  • Additional Point Opportunities:
    • National Level:
      • U.S. Junior: 125 points for competing in championship. 125 additional points for making match play & 100 additional points for each match won.
    • State Level:
      • NYS Boys' 18U Junior - 30 additional points for making the 36 hole cut.
