2026 BDGA BOYS' 14U POINT SCHEDULE


OVERVIEW
The 11 tournaments listed below are points counting events towards the Boys' 14U Junior (ages 11-14) "2026 Player of the Year". 

 

 ELIGIBILITY & FAQS

  • Eligibility: All players must have an active USGA GHIN Handicap at a BDGA Member Club, or reside in BDGA territory and have an active GHIN Handicap through NYSGA eClub of Western New York (Residency Required). Canadian citizens must belong to a BDGA member club
    • Players must participate in at least one BDGA Junior major (Junior Match Play, Junior Stroke Play, ECAC) to be included on the points list.
    • Exemption 1: If a player qualifies for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, he is exempt from playing in either the BDGA Jr. Match Play or BDGA Jr. Stroke Play. 
    • Exemption 2: Participating in the Men’s Individual Championship can be used in place of either the BDGA Junior Stroke or Match Play if a player cannot make one of those for the requirement to earn Player of the Year.
  • Ties: Ties for positions in stroke play competitions will split points evenly.
  • Additional Point Opportunities 
    • National Level
      • U.S. Junior: 75 additional points for competing in the Championship. 25 additional points for making match play & 10 additional points for each match won.
    • WAGR
      • Players earn 50 points for being actively ranked in the USGA/R&A WAGR system as of September 1st, 2026.
