2027 TEAM NEW YORK POINTS LIST
Points earned during the 2026 season form the primary basis for selecting the 2027 Team New York. A junior’s Points List total is calculated using their five (5) highest-scoring Counting Events.

SELECTION TIMELINE

Invitations will be sent in November 2026 based on the Selection Criteria outlined below.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  1. Points List Deadline: Only Counting Events held on or before November 10, 2026 will be included on the Points List.
  2. Regional Selections: The top-ranked boy and girl from each of New York's four (4) PGA Section territories - Western, Central, Northeast, Metropolitan - will earn automatic selections (4 Boys, 4 Girls).
  3. Points List Selections: Following Regional Selections, the next six (6) highest-ranked boys and girls on the Points List will be selected (6 Boys, 6 Girls).
  4. Committee Selections: The Team New York Committee will select up to two (2) boys and two (2) girls as Committee Selections. If a player who earns an automatic selection declines an invitation, the Committee will determine how the vacancy is filled.
  5. Ties: Any ties will be broken by comparing each junior's next highest single-event point total from an additional Counting Event.

Team selection is conducted on an annual basis and is not guaranteed based on prior participation or ranking alone.
