Q.  When does volunteer registration open?

A.   Volunteer registration opens on Friday, March 14th

 

Q.  When does volunteer registration end?

A.   Volunteer registration will close on Tuesday, April 1st

 

Q.  How do I select an assignments?

A.   From the "Volunteer Schedule" page, you will see a column titled " Your Status".  All dates are will display "Not Attending" by default.  To register for a specific date, simply select the "Change Status" button in the row of the event.  This will change the status to "Attending".

 

Q.  How do I see all the assignments I signed up for?

A.   From the "Volunteer Schedule" page, select the header item in the "Your Status" column.  This will sort the assignments by attending vs. not attending.  

 

Q.  Will I automatically be assigned for the event I choose?

A.   The short answer is yes.  However, there may be times that the official in charge will need to limit the number of officials due to cart restrictions, field sizes, etc.  If you have registered for an event that will require some downsizing in staffing a member of the CSGA staff will be in touch with you directly.

 

Q.  Can I signup for additional events after April 1st?

A.   Yes.  If you wish to do so please contact a member of the CSGA staff and you will be placed in this assignment.

 

Q.  I need to cancel an assignment.  What do I do?

A.   Canceling an assignment prior to April 1st can be done simply by selecting "Attending" in the event row under the "Your Status" column.  This will change you back to "Not Attending".  After April 1st, please contact a member of the CSGA staff who will remove you from the assignment.

 

Q.  What is the "More Info" column?

A.   As the season begins, the "More Info" column will display specific information for the event with items such as the official in charge, pairing groups, starting times, notice to officials, etc.

 

Q.  Will there be a master list of the volunteer schedule?

A.   Yes.  After the April 1st deadline, the CSGA staff will prepare the 2025 Volunteer Manual which will contain the master list of volunteer assignments.
