Welcome to the Biggest Handicap Loser Competition!

Need some incentive to improve your game?  Join your fellow members in a friendly, FREE competition to see if you can become the Biggest Handicap Loser for the 2025 golf season.

What is it?

We will track handicap index changes for the Chicago golf season (March 15 to November 15).  Prizes will be awarded after the end of the season for the Most Improved Player, as well as 2nd and 3rd place.

This is a free contest for Chicago Metro Chapter members.  It is separate from the national Biggest Loser Handicap Challenge run by LPGA Amateurs HQ.

How do I enter?                                                                                            

You are automatically entered if you keep your handicap with CDGA and list LPGA Amateurs as your home club.  You don’t have to do anything!

If you keep your handicap with another CDGA club or another state handicap service provider, you can still participate but you may need to contact the Handicap Chair.  First - please check whether you are already entered by going to the Player Info / Players list.  If your name is on the list, please make sure your handicap information is correct (click on your name for details). 

If you are not on the list or your handicap information is not correct, please email the Handicap Chair (Julie Suh) at handicap@lpgaamateurschicago.com.  Please include your name, handicap service (which state will suffice), home club and GHIN # if you know it and use the Subject header "Biggest Handicap Loser Competition".

Rules:

• Must have an official handicap index as of March 15 of this season
• Must post at least 5 rounds this season
• Calculation based on USGA method for Most Improved Player
