The format is a 18-hole, 2-person team best ball competition. Players will play their own balls and keep their own score; the team score on each hole is the lower of the 2 scores. The competition will not be handicapped. Prizes will be given to the teams with the lowest team scores, as well as on-course contest winners.

We will utilize the Golf Genius app for live scoring. At least one player per team should download the Golf Genius app to their phone prior to play.

After golf, drinks and snacks can be purchased at the golf shop while you mingle with other members.

Note: The registration form contains a question about golfer ability level, just to assist us with forming teams.  Click here for a description of golf skill levels.

Charity Fundraiser

$10 of your event fee goes to Revelation Golf, an LPGA*USGA Girls Golf provider.  We will also sponsor an optional hole-in-one pot, to be split between anyone with a hole-in-one that day.  If there are no winners, the pot will go to Revelation Golf.

RevelationGolf is a not-for-profit organization that uses the game of golf to enhance and develop a meaningful quality of life for cancer survivors, individuals with a physical disability and at-risk youth – girls. We provide an environment that promotes one's uniqueness and encourages social, emotional and physical health while growing in the game of golf.

Course Information

Nickol Knoll Golf Club

3800 N Kennicott Ave

Arlington Heights, IL 60004

Course Website

Nickol Knoll is built on 56 hilly acres and is one of the most unusual par 3 courses in the state. Three holes feature vertical-drop tee shots and two holes boast up-hill shots to the green. The 9-hole, par-3 course features 27 sand bunkers, and water comes into play on two of the nine holes.  Famous Chicago Bear Walter Payton used this site for his daily exercise routine - hence the aptly named “Paytons Hill” on the 3rd tee! On a clear day you can see the Chicago skyline.

Carts are available for rent at the course but are limited in availability and cannot be guaranteed. Players should be prepared to walk. There is a putting green but no driving range at the course.

All players will play the Red tees for the first 9-holes and the White tees for the second 9-holes.  The shortest hole is 69 yards and the longest hole is 136 yards (actual yardage will vary).
