Attention competitive golfers! Join us for the annual Chicago Metro Chapter Championship. New to competition? It's a great way to test your golf skills under pressure. Choose between the individual Stroke Play Division or the 4-person team Scramble Division.
Players must have an established USGA handicap. We will use handicaps as of Monday, July 21, 2025. Players must play in accordance with the Rules of Golf. Caddies are not permitted.
Stroke Play Division
Players in the Stroke Play Division will be placed into flights (4 flights total) based on their handicap as of July 21. We will award an Overall Low Gross winner and Overall Low Net winner from the entire field. We will award a Low Net winner for each flight (Overall Low Gross and Overall Low Net winners are removed from consideration).
Scramble Division
Scramble teams will play with a team handicap equal to 50% of the average team course handicap (Ambrose method). Every team must use 3 drives from each player. There will be a Low Net and Low Gross winner in the Scramble Division. Note: Teams should decide on a a Team Name.

After your round, stay around for appetizers and drinks (cash bar). We will announce the winners once the results are in.

Cantigny offers 27 challenging holes on beautiful, rolling terrain covering nearly 300 acres. The Woodside, Lakeside and Hillside nines each have distinct identities, adding richness to the golf experience. The Hillside course was renovated in 2024 and opens for play on June 2; the Lakeside course will close for renovation for the rest of the year. Cantigny is the five-time host of the Illinois State Amateur Championship and frequent regional tournaments. Cantigny has earned a reputation as one of the finest public-access golf facilities in the Midwest.
All players will play from the Red tees (5158 yards).
Registration
Registration opens: Sunday, June 1, 2025
Registration closes: Friday, July 11, 2025
Price: $110 per player (Stroke Play division); $440 per 4-person team (Scramble division). Includes golf with shared cart, range balls, competition prizes, and appetizers after golf.
Requirements: Players must have an established USGA handicap with 2 rounds posted in 2025. Maximum allowable handicap is 40; players with higher handicaps may participate but will compete with a 40 hcp.
Capacity: 56 golfers (28 Stroke Play division & 7 Scramble teams)
To register for this event, click the grey "Register Now" button on this page or go to Home > Event Registration when registration is open. Select the "Register as Member" option. You will need to login with your LPGA Amateurs account email and password. If you don't know your login info, please contact HQ-Membership.
**SCRAMBLE TEAMS** One team member (team captain) will need to register and pay for the entire team. The registration form includes handicap index, handicap service provider, cell phone number, and dietary restrictions (but information can be updated after registration) for all players. Note: The Scramble division capacity is 7 teams. If the Stroke Play division does not fill, we will accommodate additional Scramble teams from the waitlist (will confirm with the captain first before charging credit cards).
Cancellations/refunds prior to the registration deadline are subject to a 4% administrative fee. No refunds after the registration deadline but substitutes are permitted. Please email the Event Captain if you need to cancel or have a substitute.
Players must either be willing to share a cart or be willing to walk. Scramble team members will be paired in carts together.
This event is for LPGA Amateurs Chicago Metro Chapter members only. The "Register as Non-member" option will not work.
