FORMAT/QUALIFYING PLACES: 18 holes of individual stroke play with the low male scorer securing a place in the 2025 U.S. Adaptive Open to be played July 7-9 at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD. Remaining qualifying spots will be determined by low Qualifying Score Value (QSV), which is an adjusted Score Differential™, across all qualifying sites, once all qualifying sites have concluded play, based on the following:

  • Including exempt players and qualifier winners, a minimum of 4 men and 2 women from each Impairment Category (if entries don’t exceed these minimums for any Impairment Category, those players have secured a place in the Championship proper and will not go to a qualifier).
  • Additional spots will be allocated based on percentage of entrants across each Impairment Category by gender (up to 22 spots total for women); a maximum of approximately 30% of entries from any Impairment Category by gender will be applied prior to Committee Selections.
  • Ties for final qualifier and alternate places will be determined (i) by the unrounded  value of the QSV, (ii) if still needed, by the unrounded value of the QSV for each  course’s holes 10-18, (iii) if still needed, by the player with the better rank in the  WR4GD Gross Ranking (a player with a ranking will win against a player who is not  ranked), and (iv) if still needed, by lot.
