Team Purchase & Staff Contribution

 

$300 will be collected at check-in to purchase your team and support the DVCC Staff Contribution.
 

Team Purchase: $250/team ($125/player) -  Almost 75% of the purchase remains in your Flight for payouts. 

 

  • Friday In-Flight Horserace (10%)
  • Overall Flight (73%) - Winner, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place; (50%/30%/20%)
  • Sunday Overall Shootout (Top Three Teams)

 

DVCC Staff Contribution:  We are collecting a minimum of $50/team ($25/player) per team to thank the DV Staff

 

  • Our GM will split this tip money between the Pro Shop, Clubhouse, Cart Barn, and Maintenance Staffs. 
  • The Cart Girls and Bar/Restaurant Staff are not part of this tip pool; you can tip them at your discretion.

 

 

 

Tournament Schedule:   (Times may change and schedule adjusted due to weather)

 

Friday (8/15/2025)

 

  • 11:30 am – Lite lunch, team check-in, staff contribution, & team purchase, and receipt of your tee prize
  • 1:00 pm Shotgun – Teams play their 1st 9-Hole Match
  • 3:30 pm (Approximate) - Horse Race - In-Flight 3 hole Shootout - After match 1, start after all teams arrive at the designated starting tee for 3 hole, in-flight shootout. 
  • 6:00 pm – Dinner at the Clubhouse

 

Saturday (8/16/2025)

 

  • 7:30am – Practice Area Open, Breakfast & Bloody Mary Bar at Palmers Grill
  • 9am – Shotgun start, Teams play 2nd and 3rd 9-Hole Matches (note, stay on course, on same nine)
  • 10:30-noon - Grab and Go food at the turn
  • 2:30pm – Lunch at Palmers Grill

 

Sunday (8/17/2025)

 

  • 7:30am – Practice Area Open, Breakfast & Bloody Mary Bar at Palmers Grill
  • 9am Shotgun – Teams play 4th and 5th 9-Hole Matches (note, stay on course, on same nine)
  • 10:30-noon - Grab and Go food at the turn
  • 2:30pm – Lunch and Parimutuel Betting
  • 4:30pm (estimated) – Shootout starts at #15 (Flight Winners and Wildcard Teams)

 

Format

 

Two Man Teams – Best Ball

 

  • 2-Man teams playing five (5) 9-hole matches within flight.  One (1) 9-hole match will be played on Friday, two (2) 9-hole matches will be played on Saturday and two (2) 9-hole matches and Flight Winner shootout will be played on Sunday. 
  • 10 Flights, 6 teams per Flight

 

Scoring:

 

Play the entire 9 holes

1 point per hole for each 9-hole match

1 additional point for winning your match

 

Maximum points for winning team in any match is 8

 

 

Handicap Index & Allowance:

 

  • As of Monday, August 11th
  • 90% Handicap Allowance
  • Based upon the Tee you select

 

 

Flights and Tees

 

Blue & Green & White

 

All Players are eligible to play from the Blue Tees

If you are 55 or older, you are eligible to play from Green Tees

If you are 65 or older, you are eligible to play from the White Tees

 

Teammates will be able to play from separate tees.

 

During Registration you will be asked what tee you will play from and, if you are registering your partner, what tee they will play from.

 

Sunday Shootout

 

  • Each Flight Winner (10)
  • Wildcard #1 - Team's Total Score from their best round each day
  • Wildcard #2 - Team's Total Combined Score from Sunday's two matches
  • Wildcard #3 - Any team that wins each of their matches, but does not win their flight
