Handicap Seminar
This seminar from 6-8 PM will focus on the World Handicap System (WHS) for both new and returning members. Wendy Bolton, Handicap Chair, and the Chapter’s Handicap Committee will conduct the seminar that will cover the basic rules of Handicapping (including the 2024 changes to the system), the process for setting up and using a GHIN Handicap Index account and the benefits of utilizing this system. If you already have a Handicap Index, you will hear about the options you have through our LPGA Amateurs-Rochester Chapter to maintain your Handicap Index.
If you plan to participate in any competitive golf events, such as our Victor or Ravenwood league, Chapter Championship, National Championship or Cup events, or RDGA or NYSGA tournaments, you will need to have a current Handicap Index. It doesn't take much to get started to establish a Handicap Index!
This seminar is highly recommended if you intend to play in any of the competitive golf events our chapter, RDGA and NYSGA have to offer.
