Practice Rounds:

Mandatory trail fee - $30 plus tax
Practice rounds are for players only.
Only one ball may be played per competitor during their practice round. No additional on-course practice is permitted - any competitors playing more than one ball may be asked to leave the course.

Starting Times: Play will begin at 7:30 AM off of the 1st tee. See the "Starting Times" tab above to view the pairings and starting times.
Withdrawals: To withdraw from a qualifier, please login to the USGA Portal and click WITHDRAW and select the Championship and Reason for withdrawing. If applicable, any refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. Once submitted, all withdrawals are final. If you need to withdraw within 48 hours of the qualifier, please also e-mail Grace McKinnon at gmckinnon@massgolf.org.
Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 9 Qualifying Spots and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to final qualifying for the U.S. Amateur Championship at The Olympic Club (Lake Course) San Francisco, CA.
Distance Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.
Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation is prohibited.
Caddies & Push Carts: Players are permitted to employ a caddy and/or use a push cart.
Competition Tees/ Yardage: Compeititon Tees & Yardage are approximate and subject to change. Play will be from the USGA White tee markers, which will correspond roughly with the BLACK tee yardage (6,650 yards - Par 72).
Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: The practice facilities will be open and available at 6:30am.
Food & Beverage: Lunch will be available at the Terrace restaurant from 11am-7pm. Players may use cash or card at the restaurant. The 10th hole snack bar will also be available starting at 9:30am and will be CASH only.
Dress Code: Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application.
Yardage Books: For players unable to play a practice round, or those looking for more course information, Mass Golf is now partnering with StrakaLine and all USGA qualifying competitors will receive a 20% discount on their order. *There will be no registration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to receive local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
