Divisions/Tees

  • Men's Championship Division (White - 6471 - 69.6/124) 
    • Winner receives a local qualifying exemption to the 2026 US Senior Open final qualifying
  • Men's 50-64 Division (White - 6471 - 69.6/124)
  • Men's 65-69 Division (Gold - 5850 - 66.9/113)
  • Men's 70+ Division (Gold - 5850 - 66.9/113)

  • Women's Championship 50-66 Division (Red - 5209 - 64.1/109)
  • Women's Championship 67+ Division (Red - 5209 - 64.1/109)
    • The low gross woman for the event, regardless of Division, will be crowned the 2025 WSGA Women's Senior Amateur Champion.

 


Men’s & Women’s Championship Format
36 Holes – Stroke Play

  • The WSGA State Amateur will be contested over three rounds of 18-hole stroke play, for a total of 36 holes and the player with the lowest 36-hole total score will be crowned the 2025 WSGA State Amateur Champion.

  • The 2025 Men’s WSGA Senior Amateur champion will be locally exempt for the 2025 US Senior Open

Flighted Format

 36 Holes – Stroke Play

  • The WSGA State Amateur Flighted division will be contested over two rounds of 18-hole stroke play, for a total of 36 holes and the player in each flight with the lowest 36-hole total score will be crowned the Flight Champion

    • Payouts to Top 3 Gross & Net Winners


Tournament Details

  • Dates: September 6th & 7th

  • Location: Cedar Creek Golf Course - Star Valley, WY

  • Eligibility: WSGA Members 50+

  • Format: 36-hole stroke play

  • Cost: $175 

    • Includes two rounds of tournament golf, including cart, tee gifts, and prizes, plus a Practice Round on September 5th. 

  • Optional Side Game: Skins (Gross/Net) and Deuces by Tee played - $20 per day


Eligibility:

  • Open to all WSGA members with an active GHIN handicap index and are 50+ before the first day of the tournament.

  • All players must meet amateur status requirements as defined by the USGA.
