FORMAT:  Scramble- Each team consists of four players. On each hole, each team member drives and the best drive is selected by the team captain. Each team member then plays a second shot from the spot where the selected drive lays and the best shot is selected. This process is repeated until the ball is holed. During the round, each player’s drive must be used at least once.

TEES:         Women play the Red Tees. Men age 65 and older play the Black tees. Men 64 and younger play the White tees.

RULES:      Due to the scramble format, winter rules of lift, clean and place within 6" no nearer the hole, will be allowed through the green and on the green of the whole being played. “Through the green” is the whole area of the course except the teeing ground and putting green of the hole being played and all penalty areas on the course. Mulligans that have been purchased may be used at any time.

At the conclusion of play, the committee will verify the scorecards and deduct the handicaps. The scoring will be derived by adding up all players’ handicaps within their foursome, then dividing by 8, that number is deducted from the gross score. An example of this follows.

TIES:  All ties will be broken beginning with hole #18 going backwards.
